How To Add A New Lead


 

This article will run through how to add a new lead within your account. 

1. Navigate to IRE BDM > Leads > Leads.

Note: Click anywhere on the row to access the new lead information. 

 

2. To organise a property appraisal, click the 3 Action Dots, select Appraisal.

Note: Upon selection, a link will be provided for copying and subsequently emailed for completion by the prospect or the BDM, should they choose to complete the webform themselves.

 

3. In the event you have a walk-in prospect you can capture the lead yourself within the account. Navigate to IRE BDM > Leads > Leads, click the 3 Action Dots and select New Lead.

4. Enter personal details into the designated text boxes and select the contact type from the dropdown menu in the Primary Contact section.

5. Utilise the designated dropdown menus, calendar pop-up boxes, and radio button options to accurately complete the lead information in the Lead Details section.

Note: The Contact/History tab comprehensively documents all activities undertaken throughout the lead's lifecycle. This includes automatically recorded tasks such as sent emails and responses received through the referrer's web form. 

Lead Answers: This term designates the leads provided by approved referrers, including sales agents, internal staff, and personal contacts such as family and friends. These referrers submit leads through a dedicated webform, offering insights in response to pertinent questions. The information from these submissions is automatically integrated into both the Lead Answers and the Contact/History tabs for streamlined access and management. 

 

6. After manually entering all sections for the walk-in prospect, complete the Status Change Wizard as prompted. Click Next following the capture of the new status change and date.

7. Enter the New Follow Up Date into the Calendar popup field, or select No Follow Up Date checkbox if required. Click Next once completed.

8. Select who you want status change notifications to be sent through to and by what means (email and/ or SMS), and then click Update Status.
