This article will show you how to approve an application.
1. Navigate to Letting > Applications > Properties.

2. Select Applications

Note: You can follow a flexible path when navigating through the system, either using Letting > Applications > Properties > Applications or the more direct route Letting > Applications > Applications. Both approaches will lead you to the same destination.
3. Find the application you wish to approve.

4. Update the status by scrolling across to the App Status bar and updating it to your Successful Status. (Defaulted in IRE to the Paid Status).

5. A confirmation screen will then appear. Enter the lease start date and press OK.

6. Notifications will then be sent to the applicant about the status change. The notifications sent are based on your settings for that status in the Status Editor. The lease start date will be entered into the Vacancy History for that property and will also be used for your Monthly Report.
Note: If you have also set up the Status Rules within your account, marking an applicant as successful (Paid) should automatically decline all other applicants to unsuccessful - Good and send automatic messages to those applicants as well.
