How to book Inspections slots using The Run Wizard and Multi Run Wizard in Letting
This article will run through how to book inspection slots using the run wizard and multi run wizard within your account.
1. Navigate to Settings > Letting > General, click Inspections.
2. Scroll down to the Enable Inspection Slots dropdown selector, choose All.
3. Navigate to Letting > Inspections > Run Wizard, either choose an inspector and inspection day within the Create New Inspection Run or click Select Run within the Load Saved Run section.
- Click Step 2: Add Properties.
4. Either individually choose properties by selecting the relevant checkboxes against the property(s), or click the All checkbox for all properties listed, click Add To List.
- Click Step 3: Select Start and Stop Locations.

5. Choose the Start and Finish Location by clicking on both dropdown selectors, select/deselect Quick Calc. and input a value within the Travel Time Traffic Adjustment (%): textbox.
- Click Step 4: Calculate Inspection Order and Inspection Times.

6. Firstly, input the Default Start Time in the dropdown selector, input the Inspection Duration (mins), as well as Slot Duration (mins): and Slot Max Tenants.
- Click Auto-Populate Inspection Times for the run wizard to populate Start and Stop times in accordance with duration and slot configuration youâve set.
- Click Save Inspection Run and click Step 5: Confirm Inspection Run Details

Note: If required, you can Clear All Times by utilising the input button included.
7. Select Inspection Settings Advertise on Portals if relevant to your business, click Step 6: Create New Inspections to which you will need to confirm the inspections created.

8. To set up an inspection run using the Multi Run Wizard, click into the Multi-Run Wizard tab.
Either individually choose properties by selecting the relevant checkboxes against the property(s), or click the All checkbox for all properties listed, click Add To List.
Click on any individual properties and select Remove From List if required and click Schedule.

Note: By choosing the Load Run option, you gain the capability to manually modify the start and stop times according to your schedule, as well as utilize the Auto-Populate feature for subsequent adjustments.
- Opting for 5 Groups will result in the creation of five distinct runs.
- Selecting 5 per group guarantees the generation of sufficient runs to accommodate five properties in each.
- Choosing Custom provides you with the flexibility to determine the number of groups and the quantity of properties to be included in each group.
9. You have the flexibility to customise property groups by dragging and dropping properties into different groups, tailoring the display to your preferences. The system utilises Google Maps to automatically categorise properties based on their geographical locations.
- To remove a property from the current list, simply drag it to the Deleted box.
- Additionally, this step allows you to add new groups or modify the number of properties within each group. Please ensure to click Re-Calculate after making these adjustments.
- If necessary, you can also fine-tune the Traffic Adjustment settings to better suit your needs.
Once you are satisfied with the organization of the property groups, please proceed by clicking Next.

10. Once the Best Path calculation has completed, within each Group tab, select a Default Start Time, Slot Duration and Tenants (alternatively leave as per the standard default), click Auto-Populate All Times.
- Choose an Inspector from the selection dropdown, select an Inspection Day by click on the Calendar popup textbox and select Advertise on Inspection Portals checkbox.

11. Click Save Runs and click Create, to which you will need to confirm the inspections created.

Note: If you desire, all runs can be exported through to Excel by clicking the Export All Runs option.
