How to Create an Email Template using the Email Template Designer


 

This article will run through how to create an email template using the email template designer. â€¯â€¯

Email templates can be used in a campaign or sent using the contact all leads option within the leads page. 

 

1. To create a campaign template, go to IRE BDM > Marketing > Email Temp. Designer.

 

2. Once in the Email Template Designer click on the Templates drop down and select the layout.

3. Once done, the email template will open on the right-hand side of the screen, you can also be able to rename your template.

4. There are 7 different sections that can be completed in the template. To select the section to be edited, you can either click on the section in the email template or select it from the drop-down menu.

 

The different sections are as follows:

1. Logo Image - In this section, you can upload your company logo or any other image.

2. Edit Title- This is where you can edit the title of the article. This can be tailored to individuals as this can be populated with merge fields which can be found at the bottom.

3. Main Image - In this section, you can upload a main image to the email

4. Main Article - This is where you will populate the body of the email. This can also include merge fields so it can easily be sent out to multiple people at a time.

5. Main Button - In this section, you can choose where the button is linked to. This could be your website, portal page, a link from link builder or the merge field {LeadAppraisalBookingLink} which links directly to your diary so that the lease can choose a time based on your availability.

6. Social Networks - In this section you can add your links to your social network sites.

7. Footer - This can be populated with a closing message.

 

5. Once you have chosen a section, you can edit it on the left-hand side using the various options. Also, within each section (apart from the logo image, links, and footer), you have the option to add an additional element, you can either add an image, article, button, or an empty block.

6. Once you have added the desired element, it will appear in that section. You can also delete the element from the same drop-down menu.

7. Once your email is fully customised and you are happy with it, press to save. This is now ready to be used to send to your leads and/or clients.

 

8. This template can be used for Campaigns and Templates. To use this template, you will need to navigate to Messages > IRE BDM > Templates or Campaigns. From here you will go to the campaign or template messages, Add New Template, and then select newly created template from the template’s dropdown. This can now be used in a campaign or as a template to message owners.
