Step 1: Unboxing, Attaching Hooks and RFID Tags

Open the box and remove the KeyWhere panel, as well as any accessories (Note: you may get a separate box with accessories).

Ensure you examine the sides for your KeyWhere Stickers.

Please use the checklist provided below to verify that you have received all the necessary items.

1. Begin by placing your KeyWhere panel upright against a wall. Prepare a new bag of hooks for installation.

2. Insert a hook by pushing its base into one of the panel's holes, ensuring the hook's tip points to the left. When the base is flush with the panel, rotate the hook clockwise until it clicks into place. Use the provided spanner if necessary to assist with turning the hook.

3. To track keys, loop them through the metal split ring attached to the RFID tag.

Step 2. Connecting the Panel/s to WiFi

Upon your initial login to KeyWhere, you will encounter a Welcome screen. If you are responsible for the setup, select "Yes, I'll Set Up Now."

Next, you will navigate to a screen outlining the Pre-Setup Tasks:

  1. Verify that keys have been imported via the KeyWhere Web App. Your Account Manager should have completed this task unless otherwise instructed.
  2. Confirm that all RFID tags are securely attached to your existing key sets.
  3. Ensure the panel is securely installed on a wall or within a cabinet.
  4. Check that the panel is connected to power.

Proceed by tapping on each task and clicking Next.

It is now time to connect the panel to Wi-Fi. Ensure that the mobile device used for setup is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network intended for the panel. After entering the Wi-Fi password, press Next to initiate the connection.

The panel will emit a series of beeps; a green light on the panel's bottom left will confirm a successful connection to Wi-Fi.
