How to setup Reminders for your Application References


 

This article will run through how to set up reminders for your references in Applications. 

 

Once you have sent a reference request to a referee, to save you having to manually follow up, you can set up to have automatic reminders send to them over a periodic time frame.

 

1. Navigate to Messages > Applications > References

2.  On the left-hand side, click Reminders

3. To add a new reminder message setting select the reminder you wish to set up and select Add New Reminder.

4. Then select Frequency - this is calculated on an hourly basis and only the hours between 9am-5pm are included.

5. Then select the Maximum number of requests you wish to send. This includes the initial request, therefore if you choose 3 as your number it will send the initial reference request and then automatically send a reminder twice.

6. Lastly, select who you want to contact when sending these reminders. You can choose between the Tenant, Agent and Referee and whether you want to contact them via email and/or SMS.

7. You can then alter the message that gets sent to each recipient. This would be beneficial if you do decide to set up a different reminder for each reference type individually. You can toggle between each option, and it will populate the template message below for both Email and SMS.

8. If you need to adjust or add any merge fields, you can find these below the SMS box.
