How to setup Reminders for your Application References
This article will run through how to set up reminders for your references in Applications.
Once you have sent a reference request to a referee, to save you having to manually follow up, you can set up to have automatic reminders send to them over a periodic time frame.
1. Navigate to Messages > Applications > References.

2. â¯On the left-hand side, click Reminders.

3. To add a new reminder message setting select the reminder you wish to set up and selectâ¯Add New Reminder.â¯

4. Then select Frequency -â¯this is calculated on an hourly basis and only the hours between 9am-5pm are included.â¯

5. Then select theâ¯Maximum number of requestsâ¯you wish to send. This includes the initial request, therefore if you choose 3 as your number it will send the initial reference request and then automatically send a reminder twice.

6. Lastly, select who you want to contact when sending these reminders. You can choose between theâ¯Tenant, Agent and Refereeâ¯and whether you want to contact them via email and/or SMS.â¯

7. You can then alter the message that gets sent to each recipient. This would be beneficial if you do decide to set up a different reminder for each reference type individually. You can toggle between each option, and it will populate the template message below for both Email and SMS.
