How To Undo a User Lockout


 

 

 

Users who enter their password incorrectly five times will be locked out. This article will run through how to undo a user lockout. 

 

Note: Users who are locked out will also not be able to reset their password until the lockout has been undone. 

 

1. To undo a locked-out user, navigate to Settings > Admin > Mange Users. 

 

2. Within the Manage Users page, locate the locked-out user in the User Administration box, then select the user by left-clicking on their name within the box below the Filter.  Once selected, click on the Undo Lockout button. 

 

3. A pop up will appear requesting you to confirm the undo lockout for this user. Simply click OK.

 

4. The user will be able to attempt sign in again or reset their password.
