How To Update Application Status


 

This article will run through how updating the application status not only enables efficient progress tracking but also automatically triggers updates to be sent to the Applicant, Owner, or Agent via Email and/or SMS. 

NOTE: Automatic Email/SMS updates are dependent on your system settings, which can be reviewed by Diamond Level/Director Level Users. 

 

1. Navigate to the application by going to Letting > Applications > Properties.
 

 

2. Select Applications.

 

3. Update the status for the application by clicking on the relevant status from the App Status column drop-down box. Ensure you have that column ticked in your Column Chooser (eye icon).

3. You can also click on an AppID to enter into the application and change the status via the Status drop-down box.

4. When changing a status of an Application, the Status Update box will appear. Review the details and click OK. This change may send messages automatically to applicants/owners/agent depending on your account settings.

5. The system will confirm that Status Updates have been sent.

6. The Application Status will now be updated within the Applications screen and on the individual application.
