How to use the Transfer Portfolio Feature


 

 

This article will run through how to use the transfer portfolio feature. 

  

1. Navigate to People > Team > Rentals > Transfer Portfolio

 

Note: If you are transferring the portfolio to a new team member, you will need to ensure a login & team member name has been created before completing the below steps

 

 

2. Select the staff member that you wish to remove the properties from.

3. Select the team member that will be receiving the properties.

4. Select the relevant action.

Listing Agent Role Update 

Task: Shift Listing Agent responsibilities from the former employee to the new one.   

Key Points: 

  • Ensure all properties previously under the old staff member in the vacancy list are updated in external uploaders such as Rex and Mydesktop. 
  • Failing to update will result in IRE generating listings under the old team member’s name upon receiving the next xml feed. 

  

Property Manager/Sales Agent Role Transition 

Task: Reassign the roles of Property Manager/Sales Agent from the old staff member to the new one on all relevant properties. 

  

Comprehensive Role & Data Transfer 

Task: Transfer all roles associated with the old staff member to the new one. 

Key Points: 

  • This includes all property roles, future inspections, and property sharing permissions. 
  • Staff-related data for all products will also be transferred. 

 

 

Full Data Transfer 

Task: Replace the old staff member’s presence in the system with the new staff member’s details. 

Caution: This action may overwrite settings and templates related to the new staff member. 

  

Final Confirmation: Inactivate Team Member After Transfer 

Task: Confirm whether to inactivate the old staff member in the team list post-transfer. 

Note: This does not affect the user login details. 

 

5. Click Transfer.
