Managing BDM Status


 

This article covers how to manage BDM Status in Reapit Lettings.

How to Edit BDM Status Messages

 

  1. Click on Messages.
  2. Click on Lettings BDM.
  3. Click on Status type. Current, Complete or Disabled.
  4. Navigate to the required Status
  5. Select who is to receive a notification as required by ticking the box.
  6. To edit a message, click on Edit Messages.
  7. Select which version of message you would like to edit – Lead, BDM or Referrer.

 

 

 

Email Message

  1. Edit the To, CC, BCC, From and Subject fields.
  2. Edit the message by making changes in the message box
  3. Add Merge Fields to the message by clicking on the location you wish to insert within the message box, scrolling down to the Merge Fields and selecting the desired field.
  4. Add attachments to the message by using the drop-down below the message to select, then click Add.
  5. Click on Save.

 

 

 

SMS Message

  1. Select the tick box if the SMS is only to be sent if No Email is Sent.
  2. Edit the message by making changes in the message box
  3. Add Merge Fields to the message by clicking on the location you wish to insert within the message box, scrolling down to the Merge Fields and selecting the desired field.
  4. Click on Reset to Default to remove any changes made and return to the templated System Default message. 
  5. Click on Save.

 

 

 

How to Create New BDM Status Messages

  1. Click on Messages.
  2. Click on Lettings BDM.
  3. Click on Status type, Current or Complete.
  4. Navigate to the bottom of the page and click Add Another Status
  5. Enter the Name of the Status.
  6. Select who is to receive a notification as required by ticking the appropriate box.
  7. Select which version of message you would like to edit – Lead, BDM or Referrer.
  8. Enter message details and the message (email/sms) you wish to send. 
  9. Add Attachment and Merge Fields as needed. 
  10. Click on Save.

 

 

How to Include a Lead Link in a Message

 

Each message can include a unique link that allows you to quickly access the BDM Lead details from your desktop or mobile device. This feature is ideally suited to messages that are sent to the BDM.

Note: When accessing a Lead via link from a Mobile Device, you must first be logged into Reapit Connect. If you navigate away from the Lead page, this will result in non-responsive pages. 

 

  1. Click on Messages.
  2. Click on Lettings BDM.
  3. Click on Status type, Current or Complete.
  4. Navigate to the Status you wish to include the Lead Link in and click on Edit Message
  5. Click into the message box where you would like to place the link.
  6. Navigate to Merge fields and select either {LeadLink} or {ShortLeadLink}
  7. Click on Save.
