This article will run through settings for Newsletters.
1. To find Newsletters, navigate to IRE BDM > Marketing > Newsletters.

2. This will open on the Overview tab;

3. In this tab, there are 4 boxes under Overview, which gives an outline of how many Newsletters have been sent, how many are remaining, and what the most recent Newsletter to be sent was.

4. To modify the Newsletter settings, navigate to the Settings section on the left-hand side of the screen.

5. When clicking on the settings menu tab, it will expand into a further eight menus and show the Setup Options page.

6. This page allows you to design your Newsletters. From here you have three different setup options;
A. Custom – You can manually set up your newsletters by clicking through the sub menus on the left hand side.
B. Wizard Setup – The wizard will run you through each sub menu and allow you to change what you like and leave the rest.
C. Quick Setup – Quick Setup will automatically set you up with the default settings and schedule your newsletters. For more information on how to use this, check out BDM Newsletter QuickStart.

7. When completing a Custom (A) or Wizard Setup (B), each of the below menus will be completed individually:
A. Colours & Slogan
B. Links
C. Promo & Images
D. About Me
E. SMSs
F. Selection & Order
G. Targeted Leads
H. Scheduling
1. Colours & Slogan
There are four settings you can customize in this section. The red numbers below correspond with the detail/s marked by the yellow numbers in the preview panes.
A. Logo Background – Determines the colour of the background in the header of the
email including the logo
B. Button Colour – Determines the colour of all the buttons in the newsletter (except for
the slogan pane) and the background of the slogan pane
C. Action Background – Determines the colour of the call to action pane and the
button in the slogan pane
D. Slogan – This is the text that will show in the slogan page

2. Links
There are four link options listed Links menu.
A. Website
B. Facebook
C. View Listings
D. Meet the Team
To input the links, copy the link to the applicable website and paste it in the text field next to that described link.
Once happy with the links entered, you can simply select Save, located at the top of the screen, to save the changes and have each link now work within the preview display.

A. Website
The World icons related to this link are located in the top and bottom right-hand corners of the user’s Newsletter.
B. Facebook
The Facebook link is accessible via the "F" icon that will appear in the top right corner of the Newsletter.
C. View Listings
The View Listings link is accessible via the "View Listings" button that will appear in the second article break. If a reader viewing the Newsletter clicks on the View Listings button, they will be directed to the webpage related to this link.

D. Meet the Team
The Meet the Team link is accessible via the "Meet Our Team" button that will appear in the third article break. If a reader viewing the Newsletter clicks on the Meet the Team button, they will be directed to the webpage related to this link.
*Note: this separator bar will only appear if the newsletter contains 4 or more articles.*
3. Promo & Images
The first three options on the Promo & Images page are the below text boxes:
A. Promo Button Text
B. Promo Link
C. Promo Description
The information entered into these fields will appear on the image and button located at the top of the Newsletter.
4. About Me
You can choose to display an ‘About Me’ section at the beginning of each Newsletter sent out. The About Me Settings page has 7 fields or settings to customize. See below for a description of each corresponding with a number on the screenshot.

5. SMSs
The SMSs menu allows the SMS messages sent to leads to be turned on, off, or edited.

6. Selection & Order
This menu allows the client to:
1. Preview the content and look of each Newsletter.
2. Select which Newsletters are to be sent out to potential clients.
3. Decide the order in which Newsletters will be sent.
To preview a Newsletter, simply click the View button next to the Newsletter you would like to preview from the Newsletter columns on the page.
7. Targeted Leads
This menu allows you to:
1. Add a delay between the lead being received and a newsletter being sent.
2. Select which current lead statuses will be sent Newsletters.
3. Select which complete lead statuses will be sent Newsletters.
*Note: This means that any leads which are assigned a status that is not ticked on this screen will not be sent a newsletter.
8. Scheduling
On the Scheduling page you can edit the scheduling settings for the next round of Newsletters to be sent out. The Newsletters are only sent out to a subscribed BDM lead with a “Current” status. Newsletters will only be sent to unique email addresses. Therefore, if an email address is listed against multiple leads, that email will only receive the Newsletter once. There are five Scheduling settings that can be adjusted to ensure the Newsletters go out exactly when desired.
A. Time of Day (1am to 11pm)
B. Day of the Week (Monday to Sunday)
C. Week of Month (1st to 4th)
D. Frequency (Every Month, 2 Months or 3 Months)
E. Default From Address (Leads will receive their email from their assigned BDM or from the Default From email if no BDM email is found.)
Statistics
The last menu in the Newsletters page is Statistics and can be accessed by clicking the Statistics button on the left side.
The Newsletters can track the interaction the recipients are having by counting clicks on all the links included in the email. This page breaks down for you these results for you on the last round of emails sent. It includes:
1. A graph of each link in the newsletter showing how many times each was clicked
2. If you click on one of the bars it will bring up the details section of the link below the graph
3. In the details section you can see the details of each lead that had clicked that link and when.
