This article will run through how to set up an ideal week in a parent office.
When creating a Calendar Entry or Ideal Week Entry in a Parent Office you will need to assign that entry to an office.
The entry can be assigned to:
The Parent Office
Any child offices assigned to the Parent Office
This calendar time or ideal week will ONLY apply to properties in that office.
If you want a time to apply to properties in multiple offices:
Create duplicate entries (so entries covering the same time) and
Assign each entry to a particular office.
How You Would Use This Calendar Setting
Agent A is assigned to properties in XYZ Brisbane, and also to properties in XYZ Gold.
If we setup Agent A as a team member in XYZ Brisbane, and as a team member in XYZ Gold – then these would be treated as two separate team members and would lead to double bookings.
Instead we setup Agent A as a team member in the Parent Office
Agent A then has two calendar entries for the same available times.
One entry applies to XYZ Brisbane properties,
One entry applies to XYZ Gold properties
Because the entries are for the same team member, they will not be double booked by the system.
