This is a troubleshooting guide for why the QR code is not working.
1. There are no inspections on the same day you scan the QR code.
Prospective tenants can only use the QR code on the same day as the inspection being held.
When the QR code is scanned, it will only offer the inspection that is closest to the same time as you scanned the code. If you have multiple inspections on one day, it will only bring up the inspection that is closest to the time when you scanned the QR code.
E.g., You as the agent have three inspections on Monday
2. The incorrect inspector's QR code is being used.
Each team member has their own unique QR code. The inspector assigned to the inspection must be the QR code you use. There isn't a generic over-all office QR code to view all inspections being held by all inspectors in the office.
3. Not all devices have a built-in QR scanner in the camera.
Most devices have a built-in QR scanner within the camera, allowing you to just open the camera and point it to the QR code and it will bring up the web page to go to. Some devices do not have this feature, in such case, a third-party QR scanner app will need to be downloaded on the device.
Myth: Tenant's do not have to download TenantApp to be able to use the QR code. While it is recommended for easier check-in, it isn't mandatory. The regular IRE register page will be available for them to use.
